Our no wrench style Helix Anchor Rods offer moderate holding strength with good economy, in most soils that don't demand high installation torque. The helix anchor rod is a one piece unit with guying eye forged right onto the shaft to which the helix is welded. Because it is an integral unit, when desired, the entire anchor can be reclaimed. Manual installation utilizing a turning bar placed through the anchor's forged eye.

Welded Eye & Helix Earth Anchor

There's a Foresight Earth Anchor for Every Application  

DUCKBILL anchors, a patented labor and time saving device, work like a toggle bolt in soil. DUCKBILLS are driven into the ground (with no holes, no digging and no concrete), providing a safe and environmentally sensitive installation. An upward pull on the anchor tendon rotates the DUCKBILL into a perpendicular "anchor lock" position in undisturbed soil. The result: superb holding capacities. DUCKBILL anchor systems offer the most effective, lightweight and economical solutions to any anchoring application, large or small.

1. Drive anchor approximately 20" to 24" (500mm to 600mm) into the ground using heavy hammer and DS40 round steel drive rod (not included in kiit). Rod has 1/4" (6.4mm) round driving tip.

2. Remove drive steel. Wrap cable around drive steel and pull up. This rotates anchor into anchor lock position like a toggle bolt in undisturbed earth.

3. Place tree collar around tree above a limb. Insert cable through tree collar holes and adjust till cable is taut. Securely attach wire rope clamp as shown in drawing. Install remaining guy lines.
